Lighter winds today which provided a real challenge as the conditions proved exceptionally shifty and gusty with winds on the course ranging from below 6 knots up to around 18 knots. It became as important to look where the wind was rather than where you were trying to head at times.
We managed another full day of four races through the shifty conditions.
Paulo dos Reis (BRA-3333) lost his perfect score although remains solidly in the lead. Martin Ervin (EST-202) and Byron Kokkalanis (GRE-15) claimed the victories in races 8 and 9.
For the mini series, things were getting closer with Nikolaos Kampouropoulos (GRE-2000) claiming a first race victory over James Briggs (GBR-91). Overall on the day, James Briggs (GBR-91) extended his lead.
