Looking to get some more racing in today, the skippers briefing was moved one hour earlier. The fleet was sent out on the water to make the most of the periods where the wind filled in enough to race.
Minor course change for the day was announced before we hit the water.
There were four starts for Formula. One start sequence was abandoned as the wind died, two races were abandoned after one lap and we completed one race.
Later on checking with the race committee, I learned that I failed to score 19th place in the race by only a few seconds as was just out of time. I seem to be making a habit of this remembering the first day of light wind racing at Riccione in Italy earlier in the season.
Shown here at the prize giving are the overall winners from the women and men up on the podium.
