First stop in Poland was camping at Chałupy on the Hel Peninsula. This place is popular with both windsurfers and kitesurfers where the water on the gently shelving south shore of the peninsula can get pretty crowded at times.
Crossing over the railway line, going through the forest and then hitting the beach on the north shore was normally full of folks sun baking and making the most of the ocean facing swell hitting the wide sandy beach. Might sound like a long trek, in reality it was only 500 metres!
The north shore of the peninsula also gave way to some great photo opportunities at sunset.
With the south shore not looking quite so busy by night.
Anyone else up for a cycle to Hel and back?
